Using DHA derived from sugar beets, Chocolate Sun is an organic, chemical-free sunless tanning solution that also includes antioxidant vitamins, minerals and essential oils to condition the skin.
Chocolate Sun Sunless Facial Cocoa Illume Lite is for fair to medium skin. A lighter version of Cocoa Illume, obtain the sunless tan you want without the harmful side effects of being in the sun or toxic chemicals. Build color in stages with a few applications. Natural and subtle color - no orange faces! Moisturizes and protects whilst giving a subtle color. Perfect for even the fairest of them all! 4 oz.
Apply gently to a
clean face, neck and décolleté in an upward and circular motion blending into
hairline. If you have extremely light hair, avoid getting product in
hairline.
Allow product to soak
in rather than rubbing into skin completely.
During application it's a good idea to use a damp towel and periodically wipe off palm of hands and in between fingers.
Product should remain on skin for a minimum of 4-5 hours. Do not get skin wet during development time.
If liquid is splashed on skin, it is best to gently blot dry and allow product to continue to develop.
You may reapply every few days or as needed.
Wash hands immediately and thoroughly after finishing application.
Use a warm, soapy, damp cloth to wipe palms of hands and in between
fingers.
Troubleshooting: If you do make a mistake or miss a spot you can
always fill in by using a small amount of product blended onto the area
missing color.
If you get product in a place you do not want it, you can apply
lemon juice for a few minutes to start exfoliation process, or lightly
sand with an emery board or exfoliating product.
When I wanted to try the Chocolate Sun tanner I bought the face to use all over incase the body one would break me out. I've only used it on my legs thus far as it's the palest part of my body (from hiding them all winter) and it gave a really nice color. It didn't look fake, it didn't look darker than the rest of the body or have weird tan lines. I think if I wanted I could use the darker one and it would still look natural but I'm very satisfied with the color I got!

This is a great product. The only negative thing I have to say is that I wish it was darker. The dark was out of stock when I ordered so I have to use this everyday to see the color. It would be ideal for fairer skinned people.

Miracle Product for the Fairest of Them All

Amazing product!! This stuff smells like chocolate, goes on streak-free, and doesn't look fake or orange. I have ultra fair, sensitive skin, so I've always been hesitant to put self tanner on my face, for fear that it wouldn't fool anyone. To my delight, the color looks completely natural, subtle but noticeable, like a glow. It layers well, not developing too much color at first so you can build a nice tan to whatever level you want. Best of all, it doesn't cause breakouts! I'll be using every drop.

I love self tanner, and have tried many brands, from the cheap stuff like Jergens to the more expensive San Tropez, but was getting tired of putting so many smelly chemicals on my body. I read about Chocolate Sun in a magazine at the spa one day, and vowed to try it. Finally, several months pregnant and tired of looking pale and puffy, I decided to spend my birthday money and splurge on this product and the body cream. Let me tell you, it is worth EVERY PENNY. This stuff smells amazing, feels amazing, and works better than any other self tanner I have tried. The color is natural looking and develops well. I have had no trouble with streaking or blotchiness, nor do I look orange and "self-tanned"; I just look like a sun-kissed version of myself. Buy this product, I promise you will not be disappointed!
