I got a sample of this, not wanting to commit to a fragrance at such a high price point. It smelled really sugary...Couldn't really put my finger on exactly what, but i felt like I smelled like some kind of candy. Not really my thing, but would be a great scent for women who like sweeter smells. I'm a citrus/herb kinda gal myself. I'll have to pass on this one.

After using probably 8 samples of this, I finally splurged on the full-size. I'm very picky with perfumes (even back when I wore synthetic ones) and this is really the only natural one I have tried that I have loved. The scent is sweetly mysterious and lasts quite a long time for a natural fragrance. I love it!

I have now gotten 2 samples of this scent & it was awesome each time! The smell is very clean & soft yet has a good lasting power. And bonus ~ It does not burn my sensitive skin! I can't wait to buy a full bottle!

I got a sample of this with a recent Spirit Beauty Lounge order and I LOVE it. It is slightly sweet but not overpowering or too noticeable like many sweet-smelling perfumes tend to be. I have been looking for a natural perfume that doesn't irritate my sensitive skin and this is definitely the one for me. I hope I can afford the full size soon cause I'm gonna be super bummed when this sample is gone.

This fragrance was too sweet for me but I think someone looking for an intense floral would fall in love with Vamp a NY!

I adore this perfume! The scent is sweet and a little mysterious and it lasts a long time. One of my favorite natural perfumes!

Such a perfect smell for me. Perfume is obviously pretty subjective, but try out a sample if you're curious. It's got a sweetness that isn't overbearing.

Oh, my. I've gotten this as a sample twice and I'm really going to need to pull the trigger on this soon. It. Smells. Wonderful. Spicy, floral, a little sweet and a little boozy. In a good way.

I do like the way this perfume smells, but no one else can smell it on me, and the scent doesn't last long at all. I'm still looking for a great perfume.

SBL RESPONSE: Please bear in mind that truly natural perfumes are limited by nature as-is. Nothing can be done, short of using chemical fixatives and synthetic copies, to make natural extracts last longer. Synthetics are not limited, and can last much longer, but we don't think it's worth the risk.

This is my favorite perfume! It smells to me of sweet rum and just slightly smokey, like a camp fire. I really adore this scent! I took off one star only because the scent could last a bit longer and because my husband thinks it smells of sweet tarts candy which isn't exactly what I want for my signature scent.

LOVE this fragrance. It's by far my favorite natural or otherwise. I find it both sexy and mysterious perfect for nights out, dates etc. I don't find it lasts all day but just carry a travelo so you can refresh yourself throughout the day.

This scent was just too sweet for me. I felt as though I was wearing candy, and not in a good way.

I'm on my second bottle. It's sexy and smells like real perfume, unlike most other natural scents. I agree, lasting power (2hours only) could be much better.

I'm on my second bottle. This is sweet, balmy, flowery, sexy but very modern. It doesn't smell like most other organic perfume does: somehow aromatherapy like. This smells like a true perfume, and the creator, olivia giacobetti, is. On the downside: the staying power could be better, it lasts only about 2-3 hours, but I have found this has the best staying power of all honore des pres.

Vamp A NY smells sooo good! I definitely recommend it!

When I first sprayed this perfume on it had a spicy rose scent to it. I liked it but didn't love it. However, as it dried down the rose scent became more subtle and the spicy scent took center stage. I fell in love with the scent once it dried down. I think it's a bit too spicy for the daytime but it's perfect for nighttime so it's going to be my "out on the town" perfume. I honestly can't stop smelling my wrists.

This is more than a perfume. This is what I would call is a pheromone. The smell is unique on everyone and based on your body temperature it can smell different. I had a small trial size to try during last winter and I have been in love ever since. I am saving up money to purchase the full size. I am no perfume expert but here is what I recall it smelled on me during the winter. It has a warm vanilla undertone. I don't usually like vanilla smells but this has a subtle sophisticated rum vanilla undertone. You can also smell a bit of sweetness. It's not fruity or flowery but a hint of sweetness. Once it warmed up to my body temperature it left a lingering faint of heady vanilla. The smell does not overpower your senses. The sweetness is not nauseating. It just sexy and makes me feel good and warm from the inside out.
I am personally not into earthy, grassy, musk smells as it doesn't meld well to my body temperature at all so this perfume is absolutely perfect... FOR ME!

I love this perfume and did not wait long to order it after receiving a sample from SBL. I wear it every day and the only reason for four versus five stars is that the scent does not last more than a few hours on me and I have to reapply it. (Thank goodness for the sample sizes in my purse.)

This is such a beautiful, warm scent. I've never been much of a perfume wearer but I want to wear this everyday! My husband loves it, too. It has decent staying power for an all natural scent and it doesn't irritate my skin like artificial fragrances do.

This has such a perfect balance of sweet blended with the resin notes. My husband loves it and I always get compliments when I wear it.
I'm always sniffing my wrists when I wear it because it makes me feel happy. Knowing it's non-toxic makes it even more perfect.

This fragrance would make an excellent signature scent. It is recognizable and unique, strong enough to be noticeable but not overpowering, and it's sexy too. It reminds me of a forest and flowers at the same time-- maybe pine trees and roses with a hint of spice? At times, it smells a little like candy, but it's not sickeningly sweet in the slightest. I love this scent, and I wear it to work, on dates, on the weekend-- just about anywhere. It's silly, but the one thing that bugs me about it is the name. Why would a perfume that smells distinctly like nature have a name that evokes city nightlife?

I keep ordering samples of this perfume, I plan on purchasing a bottle this fall. The scent to me is sexy and subtly smoky, with the perfect amount of sweetness. I'm so glad to have finally discovered a natural perfume that smells good and suits me. Between this and Tsi-La's roll-ons, I should be good to go.

At first I felt it smelled a lot like cough syrup on me, but after the top notes settle it is a quite beautiful fragrance. It has wonderful staying power for a natural perfume as well (which can be hard to find). This is my first scent from Honore des Pres and I look forward to trying more in the future.

Beautiful natural sent for summer or winter, very feminine.
I gave it only four stars because the spray has never worked and need to shake it like crazy to get any bit out. But overall a great floral sent.

This smells like candy, I can't put my finger on it but it smells like a candy from my childhood, maybe those chalk fake cigarettes. It's pretty and light a summery scent.

I get so many compliments on this perfume and hubby loves it! It's just perfect, warm, a little spicy with just the right amount of sweetness. Unlike some others from this maker it lasts quite a while as well.

This is my absolute favorite perfume! I love natural perfumes, but I couldn't justify paying so much for one bottle.... I'm so glad I broke my own rule and bought it anyway. This scent is my go to fragrance. A gorgeous and very feminine floral, I always feel incredibly sexy when I wear it. Unlike any floral I have ever owned previously, there's truly a difference between using mainstream perfume and natural perfume.
I spray two squirts every time I wear it and the scent lasts nearly the entire day and I get TONS of compliments whenever a I wear it.

This perfume is so lovely. I don't like heavy, flowery, "grandma' perfumes so I'm pretty particular. This scent is light and fresh, but feminine and delicate and oh so pretty. It's my new favorite!

I love love love this perfume, and it probably is one of my fav perfumes of all time. The smell is so unique I have not smelled a perfume like this one before. If you want to find something that is different, try this on out. I cannot describe the smell very well, but I can imagine wearing this on a night out it is so sexy and 'deep'. Kind of reminds me a bit of arabic perfumery but in a considerate strength and depth.

It is organic and lasts all day for me too, so surprising!

I love this perfume! It has a warm, sexy smell without being overly sweet. Fairly long-lasting, for a natural perfume. A complex yet well-balanced scent. My boyfriend loves it when I wear this.
