I find this eye shadow works best as an eyeliner. It always creases on my eyelids so I decided to get around that and use the eye shadows an a liner. I find it stays on better and lends a nice sheen near my eyes to make them sparkle.

even with a strong primer that works with powder eyeshadows, these will not stay on my lids for more than about 30 minutes. they slide right off. the colors are gorgeous, and if you can handle creamy eyeshadows they might be worth a try, but for my skin (which is not dry, but not oily), they don't work at all and weren't worth the money.

I have these cream eyeshadows in magnetic, seduce, and solar. I love these three colors and wear them often, but only when I want a very specific look. First off, I think they are meant to be sheer. I tried building the colors and it always ended with them looking too shiny and creasing. One light past on the eye lid is all that is needed. I would also never wear eyeliner with these colors, as the eyeliner will fade and start running. I wear these colors as a stand alone statement. All I need is the shadow and some mascara and I am good to go. When I wear them like this I always get compliments.

I love RMS products but this was not the best of the range. I found (Perhaps with my skin type) that it creased and had limited staying power. In saying that the colours are stunning and unique. My favourite RMS product is Lip2cheek

It can be a bit sloppy to apply but is so easily blended it doesn't matter. I purchased magnetic and it is a nice everyday color to swipe across my lids. I think I could play with it and build into a darker more dramatic color.

I generally do not use eyeshadow, I'm more of a eyeliner girl. But as I try to change to go green for make-up, I decided to give a go and bought Karma first. I absolutely loved it and so I ordered two samples in Solar and Magnetic. And they are great !
I love natural look but I also like to give a little plus and see my skin glowing for a night out. And this products are the best compromise as they melt onto the skin and bring some color and light without being "too much".
I find the result even better after I have been living for few hours with my make-up.

I apply Karma (a charcoal tone) with an eyeliner brush for a strong definition, and with a flat brush to crease a smoky effect.
I apply solar (really warm gold) and magnetic (a kind of shiny taupe) with my finger on the eyelid and accentuate by applying a bit more product with a flat brush near my eyelash.

I'm definitely gonna order them now !

I have a golden light skintone with blue eyes and blonde hair. My favorite colors are solar and karma as a liner. Karma is fantastic for a smokey eye!

I LOVE the idea of RMS cream eyeshadows, and I want to love them - to the point that I actually bought 6. I originally purchased 4 (apologies - I don't know those color names) and found that, while exceptionally pigmented and concentrated (which is why, along with the concept, I gave the product 3 stars), the product becomes one big crease within 60 minutes. Disappointment! And NOT a good look! I then tried Solar and Karma more recently, and feel that the product was somewhat reformulated. Solar might merit a 4, and Karma is in the 4-5 range, if used as an eyeliner. Solar does crease, but because it's a lighter shade, it's not so noticeable, and it's a lovely eye brightener. Karma is a gorgeous shade, and is surprising in that, as an eyeliner, it really stays put. I was certain it would rub away or transfer to the crease too, but it is a GREAT eyeliner. I love it, and would recommend without hesitation. I know that others support reapplying during the day, but I have a professional job and can't really take powder room breaks to put more eyeshadow on! So it's not as practical...

To anybody making the switch over to organic/natural makeup, this is definitely the product I'd suggest everybody to try first! It's clean, it's nourishing and given how versatile all of the RMS products are, it's hard to feel guilty about buying them in every shade! I used to only wear powder eye shadows, but now I'm obsessed with the cream texture as it's an absolute dream to apply. The color is the same on your eyelid as what you see online/in the pot, and because it's made of coconut oil you also get a sort of dewy "glow" to your lids. Definitely recommend it!

I waited months and months to buy this eyeshadow because I didn't think I could justify the price, but it's so worth it. I have magnetic and karma and wear at least one of them on a daily basis. Usually, I lightly pat magnetic on my lid with my finger, use a brush to add a little more magnetic along my lashes, and finally draw a crisp line with the karma color with a fine eyeliner brush. It creates a really lovely daytime smoky eye that wears well: the colors meld together over the course of the day, and because I concentrate the pigment closer to my lash line, I don't have much trouble with creasing (although this shadow WILL crease if you put it anywhere you have lines or folds). If I add color along my lower lashes, I have to be careful about the raccoon look, but the amazing creamy texture of the product means that it's easy to correct any migrating pigment. As an added bonus, I've noticed that the skin around my eyes is less dry than usual, and my lashes even look healthier, which I really think is from the coconut oil in this product. All hail rms.

The colors are so pretty and have a nice creamy consistency. Unfortunately, on my skin they start to slide around my face and crease within 60 minutes. I need my makeup to stay in place all day for work. Made the mistake of wearing RMS eyeshadows to work and was embarrassed to see in the bathroom mirror that my eye makeup had all melted together and become very messy. I would recommend this for only people with the driest skin, or folks who only need their makeup to stay in place for a short time.

I really love anything and everything RMS. I have this in Lunar, Karma & Magnetic. The only issue I have is trying to keep it in place. I use a primer, but it always seems to slide around and I lose it. Guess I'll have to set it somehow better.

Karma is so pretty... a deep brownish black. I like to use it as a liner. When set with a powder, I am actually impressed with the staying power (although I have to be careful not to rub my eyes or anything.) When used as a cream shadow, it goes on beautifully, but migrates and creases like nobody's business. I think perhaps the creasing would not be as noticeable with the lighter colors. Also, this stuff is concentrated... I cannot imagine ever using up the entire product.

i have this in Magnetic and it's the one color that flatters my skin tone most. i almost always use this at least as a base, but then i also love experimenting with different eyeliners and maybe blending in some of the darker colors (i like the black one and the bronzey one). that makes a stronger look for night, and then during the day most times i just smudge a bit of Magnetic here and there for tired-but-chic French girl look. ;) also like to line below eyes with cheap-o CG eyeliner (which i know is unnatural and perhaps verboten in this space but i'm working on becoming a better human being each day :-) ).

what else? well, i love how moisturizing this is. this can be a bane or a boom i guess, depending on what look you're going for. i am a hippie. a little bohemian, or at least i fancy myself as such, and so i don't really mind - and actually prefer - that smudged lived-in look with my makeup. if you're looking for World's Most Precise Application, something that never ever smudges and won't ever settle into lines or need re-application during the day, then this may not be for you. but you know what? i'd still say try it because i didn't really think i was a cream shadow gal until i got the little samples of it from Spirit and tried it out. i just absolutely love the feeling that this is caring for my skin at the same time being a cosmetic, and i think i can see a general improvement - we're not talking miracles, guys, but basically if you smear a coco-butter or whatever this stuff has in it based product around your eyes all day, your aging eye skin is gonna stay a little better hydrated in the gross office air, kwim? :-/ so i'm not claiming miracles, but i'd say give this stuff a try if you like the idea of looking like a sexy French chick who slept in her mu (but of course didn't because we always wash everything off with Tata Harper cleanser at EOD, because it is a joy and luxury to do so! :-D)...

I have MAGNETIC and SEDUCE in these shadows. I have a love/hate relationship with these shadows. I love how easy they are to apply and blend, as I don't wear eye shadow a lot and when I do I want it to be quick and easy. The hate part comes in an hour or so after I've applied and most of the shadow is gone. I wish it lasted longer!

Really pretty eye shadows! I started with the lunar one but would like to try solar or karma for more dramatic eye color. The shimmery quality is fantastic - especially considering that it is all natural and really moisturizing. So much better than cheap cream shadows or eye-irritating powders. If you use the living luminzer you could probably opt for one of the more pigmented shades and use the luminzer to get a similar brightening effect as the lunar shade.

This eye shadow is truly the best eye shadow I have ever used. As with most natural and organic makeup, I am perfectly fine with doing touch-ups - in fact I enjoy it since I know I'm putting great stuff on my skin! I put this on in the morning and by the mid afternoon I touch up. I use my fingers, no brush needed! It is creamy, the color beautiful, shimmery, and natural. It looks really lovely. I really like how easy and quickly it is to use this pot of eye shadow! Beautiful! Can't wait to get it in lunar!

These shadows have everything I'm looking for as far as consistency and look and great ingredients! I have dark brown eyes and medium skin and I really like solar and seduce. I bought magnetic also but I think it was a little too cool toned for me. My only issue is that they don't always stay on great, but I think I could remedy that with a primer or some powder.

The colors are gorgeous and fun to mix. I love mixing Lunar and Solar. They will crease and need reapplication but it's worth it to me for such a pure and natural product.

I have three colors: Karma, Seduce and Solar. Not crazy about solar, but love the other two. I use Karma as an eyeliner. I love them because of what they are: completely green and healthy! The only gripe I have is the creasing. But I think RMS is working on a primer or something. I really don't like the migrating of colors and having to smooth out the crease all the time, but I wear them because they are good for me!

These are classy, sophisticated and beautiful. Magnetic is my favorite for a lighter smokey eye, and Karma is awesome as an eye-liner (it stays on better than Magnetic) but also great for a smokey eye. They last pretty well, but will usually need a quick touch up. No big deal.

I own four colors of this eye shadow (Magnetic, Spark, Solar and Lunar) and use at least one every day. Yes, it does crease a bit but it makes my eyes look alive instead of dull. I have dry skin and this keeps my eyelids from showing my age. A quick pat and everything is then fine.

I'm not big into eye shadow. I like a simple glow every now and then with a light eyeliner. I've tried this in Solar and it's perfect! Long wearing, no creasing or greasiness. Lovely color. Would highly recommend, and I look forward to sampling other colors in the collection.

I've been using Solar, the new antique gold, every day for weeks now. I usually wear grey or purple eyeshadow, so I was surprised by how much I liked this. It's a great but subtle eyeshadow for summer/fall and complimentary to blue eyes, brown hair, and tan skin. I have fairly oily skin, so this definitely migrates to my creases; this happens to me with all cream shadows. I have the most success applying more heavily along my lashline, then blending outward toward my crease. Then in a few hours, I check and tap or swipe my crease to remove the excess.

I love the consistency of these shadows - super creamy but not heavy. Adds a light sheen and is buildable for more pigment. I use Solar (light gold) as an everyday eyeshadow for that subtle glowy lid.

I got a sample of this in Karma. I smudged it around my eyes as an eyeliner, and within minutes it was in my creases. It virtually disappears after about an hour. I used primer, too. Two stars for the pretty color. Since some people don't seem to mind the creasing, maybe it works better as a sheer wash over the whole lid. However, it just did not stand up to my oily lids.

I love this stuff! Magnetic being the first one I tried, I had to order the rest of the colors. These colors are so easy to use, and they give a really flattering, glossy color that gives you a glow-- a natural looking glow that's not artificial at all, more like she's so naturally beautiful! And the creasing to these is so easily fixable, but also looks like smudgy sexiness. I also love that these are as super "clean" and good for you as it gets. Thanks RMS and SBL!

I wear Solar almost everyday as an eyeliner. It's a great color year-round and I find it looks really nice with Ilia's lip conditioner in Bang Bang. It really adds a great pop of color and is a nice contrast for my blue/green eyes. I also wear it spread out over my lid and crease when I want a more subtle and sheer look.
When I want a darker liner, I use Seduce which can also be worn spread out over the lid and in the crease.
These do crease and collect a little but I've found that many not-so-natural shadows in both cream and powder will do this but RMS blends back in quite nicely by just patting it.

I have the solar color which is a gorgeous goldy-bronze for summer. It really makes my blue eyes pop. I love the gorgeous shimmers and the smooth texture. My only qualm is that it does crease and I have to reapply. However, its such a dream to apply, I don't really mind.

The much anticipated rms arrived yesterday and I wore it today all day and it stayed, no smudges, or wear off. Easy to apply I used just my finger tip and blended. Its a little darker on the skin than I thought it would be I was expecting more purple-ish from the magnetic shade and its really more like gunmetal but I just dipped into it so that might change the more i use it. Looks like its going to last a really long time, I hardly used any to get the full effect. Going to buy some other shades!

I love Magentic and Karma. Stays on well and is so easy and fun to use! I use Magnetic for daytime and Karma for an evening smokey eye (doesn't work well as an eye liner for me).

The RMS shadow in Karma is great for a smokey eye and / or as a liner applied with an angled brush. It has a soft look a blackish brown color and blends well.

I have this in solar and lunar and I love both so much I wear them daily. The lunar is a light white gold and really brightens the lids, it also makes for a nice highliter all over the face. Solar is a golden bronze, very flatering with a tan and any color eyes. I put lunar from lash to brow then use solar on the lids and blend it lasts me all day no problem and doesn't creep like other creams can. I look forward to buying more, I wish they had more colors!

These are really nice cream eyeshadows that blend wonderfully. Personally, I like to pat the color on with one finger then blend with another and just layer it on little by little. It lasts for quite a while that way. Unfortunately I can't speak to creasing since I...well, have no creases. (I have monolids.) They're also really beautiful mixed--my favorites to mix are Karma and Magnetic to get a blackened violet. So pretty.

I have this in Seduce, Magnetic, Solar and Lunar - and yes, they crease. I tried patting Alima shadow to stabilize them, but they slip considerably during the day. However, I use Solar as a gold highlighter on cheekbones and lips - I'm super pale, but the color gives a warm sheen. I use Seduce and Magnetic as an eyeliner on my lower lids, it stays mostly put and softens during the day to a natural gleam. Lunar, I use on my cheekbones. So yeah, they're lovely colors but I've had to use them for anything but eye shadow.

Magnetic is my winter go-to. It's a lovely, rich purplish color with sparkle, without looking cheesy or overdone. It can crease halfway through the day, but it's easy to touch up with your fingers.

I so wanted to love this eyeshadow the ingredients are great the color is lovely ( I got the magnetic) but it creases on my eyelids.I tried putting powder over top but still found it to crease a few hours later. Maybe I have oily eyelids because it seems to work for others.

The formula of this shadow is really perfect. I have sensitive skin and eyes, so I have to use a natural/organic eye shadow. I had read several makeup artists swear by shade "lunar" as an illuminator. I tried it and it's amazing. The shade is just right for my yellow skin. Most illuminators look frosty and too pink. Just dab and blend a little anywhere and you'll get a nice sheen. I'm also obsessed with karma shade. Can be blended for a perfect smoky eye. I like the look of smudgy, worn-in makeup and this creates exactly that! These shadows are really versatile and can be applied with fingers or brushes.

So - at least for me - this doesn't work as eye shadow. I honestly can't really make it work for me! However, as eyeliner? This. Is the. Bomb. Seriously!

I was a huge fan of cream eyeliner before going natural, and this product did great as an eyeliner for me. It stayed on and was a great color. It's a bit dark as a stand alone shadow, so if using as a shadow, I'd blend it with other colors.

I love RMS. Love, love, love it. But the eyeshadow I feel only lukewarm about. I know natural products are not designed to be as long-lasting, still, I don't have to reapply the Un Coverup or the Lip2Cheek. My eyelids are so oily, though, that the cream eyeshadow slides right off, even if I use primer first. The colors, though, are absolutely gorgeous. I bought Solar and Karma after Spirit demo'd them. But again, they just don't cling well to my eye area and I am not a reapply kind of gal — I don't have that kind of time. For someone without such oily eyelids (and willing to reapply throughout the day), this would be a good buy.

I've never been an eyeshadow person, but I've accumulated 3 of these. I have Karma, Magnetic, and Myth. I get the most use out of the former two just because Myth is so orange - however they're all very blendable so any shade can be toned up or down. Just a little dab across my eyelids makes gives my skin a bright, glossy look with very little work. Karma looks fantastic as a subtle smoky eye or as an eyeliner. They're on the pricey side but they're so concentrated I can see them lasting a very long time, They also crease, but I don't mind, as gently tapping my eyelids will put the color back in place.

I have these in Magnetic and Solar. Magnetic is particularly unique and gorgeous - a metallic taupe (which doesn't do it justice -buy it or sample it!), but Solar is also great for an easy summery day look. They do crease on me a bit but I agree with another reviewer that these look good smudgy, if that makes sense. I wear them all over the lid; they are super easy to apply and smooth out with your finger.

This is the only cream eye shadow I will use. Goes on smooth, colors are rich, and a little goes a long way. My favorites are Lunar, Seduce, and Solar. I usually pair Lunar + Seduce together, + use Solar on its own, especially during the summer.

I have this in a number of colors and they're all amazing. It took me a while to figure out how to apply it without smearing it everywhere, but I love it now that I've figured it out. For me, it's easiest to apply it with one of those little sponge tip applicators - my fingers, a q-tip, and brushes all just made a huge mess for me. It does cake a bit in the crease of my eyelid, but a little rubbing fixes that easily enough.

I use these mainly as liners, applied with a finger or small brush. They do smudge after a while on me, but the thing is they still look good smudged, and it's easy to repair the smudge with an occasional visit to a mirror. My favorite colors are Magnetic (unique and gorgeous), Solar (awesome glow), and Karma (black but not too black for my pale skin).

I feel like I just have to update my review on cream eyeshadows since my recent purchase of Karma and Solar in addition to Magnetic and Seduce. As I have previously said, Magnetic and Seduce will be a bit troublesome for you if you have oily lids, but what I do is to blot my eyelids enough so that these cream eyeshadows won't crease badly. They will still crease, in my case, no matter how much blotting I do, but it will reduce it from happening!

The recent purchases of Karma and Solar, the texture feel a bit different. I'm not sure if it's just the products that I got but the other colours feel far more creamy. Karma and Solar on the other hand, are slightly drier so they work really well for my lids without blotting too much. Hence, they stay put better!

I'll pat these over powder shadow to get a more dewy look and prevent creasing. They're beautiful and a refreshing departure from the typical frosty shimmers.

Beautiful colors and very versatile. Easy to control the depth of color - a light coat looks natural for day and more can be added for evening. Creases can be easily removed by smoothing with your finger.

The colours are so gorgeous, but I find that my eyelids are really oily, so be careful, I still have not found a way to stop it from creasing. I tend to use it as an eyeliner, or dab a little bit all over avoiding the crease, and it works out great without any smudging. The colours do stay beautifully. Love how it does not look like those cheap gliterry eyeshadows, the colours are very luxurious, I think you would love them!

My eyelids tend to be quite oily so these colors end up being a little high maintenance for me (I have to touch up several times throughout the day to stay on top of creasing and migration). As an eyeliner they are beautiful. The color payoff is outstanding and the shades are gorgeous! I have both magnetic and seduce. Love them!! Seduce is very pretty but if I use it all over the lid it's a bit yellow for me. Magnetic is stunning... pretty as both an eyeliner or all over the lid (avoiding the crease).

I like the eyeshadows. My eyes are dry and these are moisturizing. Magnetic is a nice taupe. The trick is to really work these in with your finger. They are more like a gloss rather than full on colour. Great for daywear. You have to use it with your finger, brushes don't work.

It won best eye shadow for a reason! Seriously love the whole RMS line. Magnetic is my favorite shadow. It is very shimmery & such a flattering shade. But what makes me love these shadows, is that they are creamy & smooth. They go on flawless. If it does crease, you just tap it lightly to smooth it out. I like cream shadows much better than powders that tend to be messy & spill.
