I really like this oil under the "Un" Cover-up that I use for foundation. I have used some of the oils separately that are a part of this beauty oil and find that this combination is wonderful. I happen to love the scent so that is an extra bonus, I love how my foundation feels over this - just right and lasts longer.

I love this! It smells divine and it works divine too. I use it at night and when I wake up my skin looks better with it then when I forgo it. It plumps up pretty nicely.

My stars should really be a 2.5. I got this oil as a sample because I love to try out new facial oils, especially from SBL! Anyway, I'm really torn about this one. The first time I smelled it, I thought, "This smells like vanilla and campfire." Odd, I know. Reading some of the other reviews for this oil, it seems like others had an issue with the smell and either loved it or hated it. I would say that some of the other suggested smells from reviewers, such as vanilla and almonds or fake vanilla seem accurate as well. I think I detected the same bitter, earthy, or burnt almond smell (maybe that's what made me think of the scent of a campfire). There's just something not quite right about the scent and I can't put my finger on it. Enough about the scent, though. It doesn't linger too long after application.

Scent aside, the oil itself is light and absorbs easily. It didn't leave me greasy at all and didn't clog my skin. Actually, it may not have been hydrating enough for me on my cheeks and forehead where I'm drier. After looking at the ingredients of which jojoba is the first oil listed, it makes sense as to why this oil is so light. In fact, the ingredients seem very similar to the Dr. Alkaitis Treatment Oil (same two main oils with some of the same herbs). For the price, the Dr. Alkaitis Treatment oil is a better deal and it also smells more pleasant (to me, anyway). So, while this oil was light and didn't clog my combo skin or anything, it didn't work wonders and I think a better deal is to be found elsewhere. Not to mention, the smell seemed off to me. Glad I got this as a sample because when it comes to getting a full size, I think I'll have to pass.

So I tried this for a week...I had a few samples to use up. At first, I did not like this product, nor the smell, but in a weeks worth of time this product changed my mind. It even ended up helping my acne prone skin and gave me a nice glow. I will purchase a full size bottle and give that a shot. When in doubt-sample first!!

I was so excited to try this oil. I like a lot of the other RMS products. A little bit does go a long way and my face felt very hydrated. It absorbed nicely, but not as well as some other oils I've used. The one thing I am not fond of is the smell. Believe me I'm a sucker for wonderful natural/organic smells, but this one is too strong for me. I normally like vanilla, but something about this smell that is a little off and just doesn't agree with me. I will try and get over the smell for a bit, as I have 3 samples to use up. Sometimes after you use things for a bit you start to get used to them or they grow on you. Plus, I want to see if i will notice any short term results in that time. Maybe I can blame it on that I am a huge fan of the Vered and Kahina scents!!

First off, the packaging is sleek, minimalistic, but not quite as luxurious as RMS Beauty's pots or even Kahina's dropper bottles. The dropper itself however is much better than many other face oils I've tried and doesn't leak. The oil is clear, golden, and faintly vanilla-scented with a slight almond-like note.

It spreads well and you truly only need a few drops. I find that when applied correctly it absorbs very quickly and provides a nice matte-to-dewy base for makeup, making it an excellent daytime face oil. I have naturally oily skin, so this usually is all I need as a moisturizer. Long-term use (twice daily) combined with my regimen and strict diet provided my skin with a good evenness and glow. Unlike some other face oils I felt it did not congest my skin whatsoever, and the rosehip oil, turmeric, and tamanu oil helped heal pigmentation scars and dealt with some nasiolabial ruddiness.

I find this oil is best used when I am not breaking out (merely healing), and when I am very strict about cleaning my face and using clay/honey masks. It is definitely geared toward being a healing oil, meant for soothing scarred or irritated skin (but not open wounds). It may not be my ultimate face oil yet, but it definitely is one of the best I've ever used. Well worth trying long-term.

I am thrilled with RMS beauty oil.. I have been using it for a week now and my skin feels great, I have this amazing glow, my skin is soft & hydrated. This product is a must have!!!
I use it morning and evening, and just couple of drops before applying foundation makes a huge difference.

Let me preface this by saying that I love RMS products. I also love the smell of vanilla. However after applying a sample of this tonight, I proceeded to throw the remainder in the trash. The smell is that bad. It is very strong. And even though I know it's not, it smells totally artificial to me. In fact, it reminds me of toothpaste that dentists use. So disappointing!

I was planning on splurging for Rodin's Olio Lusso, until I heard RMS came out with a new beauty oil. I'm glad I bought this instead. I love the lightweight consistency. And unlike other reviews, I actually really love the smell. It's an exotic vanilla scent, but not too overpowering, very relaxing. It feels luxurious putting it on. I use it last every night before bed. It does help with my dry, red, sensitive skin. Now I barely even feel the need to use makeup. Definitely the dream product I've been looking for. Will purchase again.

This is a nice oil. The ingredients are great but with jojoba oil as the first ingredient this oil is a bit overpriced. The packaging is only so/so in my opinion and also doesn't justify the pricetag. The scent is vanilla which I personally didn't care for. It didn't bother me but it didn't do anything for me either. It's fairly hydrating but it made my skin super shiny so was a no-go for daytime use. It also seemed to break my skin out but the sample size wasn't large enough for me to say for sure. If you love jojoba but want something extra and you like sweet scents then you'd probably enjoy this oil. For me I prefer Dr. Alkaitis, Pai's Rosehip Bioregenerate, or Kahina's Argan oil.

Instant relaxation! The smell is an amazing vanilla but not quite enough that you want to eat it :) I use this as an overnight oil and my complexion is brighter and more even toned in the morning. Highly recommended.

I love this beauty oil! I have dry skin, and I live in a dry climate, so I needed something that would really moisturize. I hate the feeling of heavy creams on my face though, and I also don't normally like using oils because I don't like my face to be all slick, either! This beauty oil is the perfect medium. A little goes a long way, and it feels light on your skin and absorbs easily. It's great for combatting overall dryness without having your skin feel coated. It is an oil, so if you apply too much, your face will feel a bit slick/oily, but it dries quickly so that's not too big a deal. (Plus, only having to use a little means it will last longer, which is great since it's so expensive). It has a faint almond smell too, which I really like – not overpowering, but strong enough it doesn't smell like you're putting oil all over your face! Definitely worth the splurge, both for the results, and because it is a lot of product that lasts a long time!

Very well blended oil with great smell. It sinks into skin immediately upon application, and makes it smooth and beautiful. The package is very nice: minimalistic and functional. However, I will not repurchase it since my organic jojoba oil does the same job as this oil, and costs seven times less.

I think it smells absolutely heavenly! It is definitely vanilla. It works really well without clogging my pores. I'm a flight attendant, so I use it when I fly for extra moisture.

I didn't want to like this, felt it was too expensive. I was already using Dr. A's nourishing oil and liked it; you get much more oil for the same basic price. I tried a small sample of the beauty oil and thought, eh maybe - it does make my skin glow and it isn't too oily - good prep for the un cover. I tried another sample and this time - before usage - my face was red, had some problem areas with recurring flakiness that the other oil was having no effect on. To make matters worse I picked at it and made a mess.

I used 4 drops of the rms oil and nothing else for a few days and wow! Everything cleared right up! I even had a burn that I put a little on and it seemed to heal faster. Now that it's getting dryer I sometimes layer a bit of Dr. A's day cream on top at night, but for day the beauty oil followed by RMS un cover is all I need. Redness improved, no more flakiness, no bumps. Took one star off for price.

Full disclosure: I pretty much love all RMS products. More disclosure: I love facial oils. I only recently started using them, doubtful that they'd be as good as everyone raved because I have oily skin. As I've aged, though, I have developed oily skin with distinct dry patches and it's hard to treat both. Argan oil seems to hydrate, although not as much as I'd like, without making me break out. This oil is a fab moisturizer, but I cannot stand the vanilla smell. It's strong, like artificial oatmeal cookie smell strong. It's pricey, too, but I'd buy it if it weren't for the heavy vanilla scent,

I got this as a sample because I'm always on the fence about RMS beauty products--love their Lip2Cheek but thought their Uncover up and Living Luminizer were only so-so (I realize this puts me in the minority!) Anyway, I wanted to like this oil more than I did. To me it has a pretty strong nutty/almond/vanilla scent which I like but could see it being a turnoff to some. I only used a tiny bit each time (sample lasted about 5 applications) and I have to disagree with some of the other reviewers as I felt it was pretty heavy on my skin, didn't absorb well, and stayed greasy-feeling for a while. I have dry skin and read in the SBL Oils guide that it may not be moisturizing enough for dry skin, so I was surprised it felt so greasy. If it doesn't feel like that to you it's a nice oil; for me I'm still on the hunt for a different one.

I found this oil, when applied at night after cleansing and using a facial scrub, kept my facial skin hydrated and glowy well into the next day (without washing it off in the morning). I don't like it as much as a day time moisturiser, especially not under makeup, but I have naturally oily skin.

Personally, however, I find the smell quite repugnant, and I couldn't use this oil on a regular basis. I've noticed other's commenting on how nice it smelled, though, so I guess it's up to personal taste.

I've always turned away from using oils on my face, but coming from RMS Beauty, I thought I would give it a try. A few drops during the day and one or two more at night and I don't feel greasy or oily at all. I love the way it smells and I love the way my skin looks and feels using this product. I will never go back to using a cream or lotion on my face ever again.

There is a slight vanilla scent to this oil and my skin feels so moisturized after I use it. It makes applying makeup so great because the skin just feels evenly moisturized and soft.

I really wanted to make this my new oil because I loove RMS. However, I don't know if it was a coincidence but for the 3 days I've been using it, I've noticed cyst like pimples popping up, small at first, and consistently getting bigger. I was just going to keep using it until my sample was up, but I didn't expect the cysts to get as big as they did. I thought maybe the oil was purging out the impurities, but ... the cysts make me feel uneasy to keep using it. Little pimples have popped up as well. I did notice however, aside from the pimples, it gave the rest of my skin a really nice glow. I adore the smell as well, really divine. For now, I will just use up the sample and see what happens to the cysts after.

There are still quite a few facial oils I'd like to try but so far I think this one is totally worth the price! It moisturizes, soothes problem areas and just feels great. Not greasy or slimy like some.
I like applying it at night and waking up to smoother skin and applying under makeup as a light moisturizer / primer.

I have dealt with combination skin for years. This oil is an excellent face oil which absorbs easily into the skin with out adding shine to my oily T-zone areas. An oil that doesn't leave my face greasy and shiny amazing! I will order the full size this will be a staple product for me!

My favorite facial oil so far -- even better thal ila and Dr. Alkaitis (which I prefer for the body). The smell is subtle but delicious - not cloying just really delicate vanilla. It sinks in easily (long as you do it right out of the shower).

I've been using this oil for about a week and my skin keeps getting better and better. It's more even, luminous, supple, and feels more graceful (as unusual as that may sound). The product goes on like velvet and is lovely for both day and night. It's called Beauty Oil for a reason. Thanks a lot, RMS!
