I have used other brands of coconut oil as a facial cleanser and/or moisturizer but I kept reading how all coconut oils are not created equal and i use RMS cosmetics so I wanted to try this one.
I have been using it for a couple of weeks and it does take off makeup fine but not moisturizing to my skin and I would not say my skin is very dry... I will not repurchase when finished but go back to Dr. Bronner's Coconut Oil.

I used this for my body more than anything and it's the best thing for scars and marks. It's a little heavy for facial use if your skin is already oily but it also works for makeup application to get rid of mistakes. It's pricey though for the quantity.

I do like this, but have since used comparable raw coconut oil that is far less expensive. Coconut oil is indeed an excellent and versatile product. This one, by RMS, was my introduction to it. After I ran out, I did some research and found that there are plenty of other raw coconut oils that are just as beneficial...and cheaper. The key is to find one that is as unprocessed as possible (check your health food store).

You can use it for everything! Works great as a make-up remover, but I love it simply to moisturize my parched skin too. Easy to apply and absorbs quickly. Lovely, light coconut scent.

The coconut cream removes every waterproof makeup I've subjected my eyes to, and I love that it's all natural. A little goes a long way, and mascara literally melts off the lashes with minimal effort.
It has a very smooth feel, and doesn't irritate skin, but I've yet to figure out how to remove it completely, since it is an oil and sometimes a little trace of it can make my eyes dry overnight.

This product from RMS is so cool! I can't get over that it is just pure coconut. It is solid and you have to scoop it out. I use it to remove eye makeup. It definitely takes longer to remove eye makeup than the kind you would get at a drug store or Sephora, but will completely remove all makeup and is all natural. A really great product!

I've purchased the Coconut Cream directly from RMS before, but not through Spirit Beauty Lounge. Frankly, the customer service at RMS isn't the best, so if you're looking to buy this, definitely do it through Spirit! Now, coconut oil is an amazing product that can be used for a vast number of things. But it's just as good when you buy it from your grocery store as when you buy it from RMS. I've also had issues with the RMS tub leaking. I don't know if they've redesigned it since, but for the amount of coconut oil I like to use, this tub isn't big enough anyway! I love using it as a hair mask, moisturizer, makeup remover, etc. The only thing I avoid using coconut oil/cream for is a facial cleanser, because I have a very oily complexion. However, the coconut oil-based cosmetics from RMS and other brands sold through Spirit have given me no breakouts at all. If you'd like a small, chic little container to keep your coconut oil in, this is perfect (but make sure it stays somewhere where it's always right side up and cool). But if you use large amounts of the stuff, this will not last you long and it won't have great value.

I was intrigued to try this, but I didn't expect to like it. After a couple months of regular use I am extremely surprised. Although I'm not a fan of products in tubs RMS does everything in glass tubs for purity's sake (they explained that to me on the phone). Ignore any reviews that say about this is the same as coconut oil from the supermarket. It's NOT. This is serious, hardcore, no joke, pure coconut, basically compressed into a waxy-cream - almost like garlic when you put it through a garlic press, this is the coconut version. If you don't like the smell of coconut, you won't like this because it almost assaults you. I'm not a fan of scented things but I enjoy this, and it fades after a few minutes anyway. Plus, it's authentic, not something "resembling" coconut.
You can remove makeup with it super easily, but in my experience it's best used like this: Before you get in the shower or wash your face, smear it all over your face (eyebrows, lips, everywhere). Hop in the shower or do other stuff first, like wash your hair or brush your teeth. Then it's warmed up, turned to oil, and sunken into the skin. Now rub your skin gently, but thoroughly, for a good 10-20 seconds, either with a cotton or sponge pad, then wash this off with a basic lathering cleanser. Your skin will be totally clean, yet soft and perfectly balanced. For someone like me with dry skin this is HG material because it allows me to use the lathering "stripping" cleansers I love without the over-dryness they cause. Plus, for eighteen bucks this doesn't break the bank. After two months I was about halfway through the tub. PS: I'd give it 5 stars if it came in something other than a tub. Why not a toothpaste-like tube? It would keep out all the light and push out any air.
Update: Several months later I had a minor facial surgery (not cosmetic) and was instructed to use Vaseline on the wound while it healed. Surgeon sent me home with a tiny packet of Vaseline, and I thought I had more in my cabinet, but I didn't. I had a big bandage on my head (and some swelling) so I didn't want to go out. I knew people the world over use oils (like olive) for scar-prevention, so I tried this, dabbing it every morning and evening, then just leaving it there. Two weeks later the wound was nearly invisible. No joke...almost invisible. Maybe he was just a great surgeon but...invisible? Hard to imagine someone THAT good.

This Coconut oil worked wonders on my skin which is combination, sensitive, and acne prone! However the price didn't work any wonders on my wallet and I went on the hunt for something cheaper. I buy this same oil, but it's by Trader Joe's Brand and it's $5.99 for 16 oz!!!!!!!

This product is SO HARD that it is hard to use. I fought through for awhile using it as a moisturizer, but it wasn't any better then anything else (lotion of oil). Not sure where I could put this to warm (soften) it up!

4 stars for the price. 18 is a little pricey for me BUT it has lasted me 9 months now. I use it on my lips every night and morning. This is the only thing I use to take off make up.

I give my hair a a hair treatment every now and then with this oil. I cleanse my face with it every now and then as well. It's very versatile, you can use it for almost anything. You can buy coconut oil used for cooking but I prefer to keep cooking oil and skin care oils separate. I will be buying this again once I'm out to continue using as a daily lip balm and makeup remover.

A really great moisturizer for all skin types. It even takes off make-up.

Yes, you can go buy some coconut oil from your grocers and use that if you'd like. However, it won't look nearly as nice, and it's not going to be as high quality as this is. I use it for taking off mascara and as the first step in a facial. Let it melt in, then place a washcloth dipped in very warm water on top of your face for a minute or so. Wipe off with cloth. Feel amazing!

I couldn't understand what this product would be like until I tried it - it's just cool. You can remove makeup (or swiftly fix makeup errors) and brighten up your hair in between washes without making it look greasy (makes it look more beachy). Plus I LOVE the coconut smell. And the light feel is so rare in other remover oils and synthetic products.

This product is very calming and gentle on the skin. A little bit goes a long way. I have been using this as a facial moisturizer and it works well. I rub the remaining into my hands. It does sit on top of your skin a bit. It has a very light scent. I bought this to compare to the coconut oil I was previously using(MVM hypoallergenics). I am happy with both and can not tell the difference between them. I only use this at night or when I do not have to put on makeup as my combo skin wouldn't agree with it.

I really wish I could use this as my make up remover, as that was my original intention. However, I find that my acne does not like it. I got because it was supposed to be anti bacterial, but I guess my facial skin does not like it. Even when I try to use it on my eye makeup, I got a little in my eyes and it stung. Now I just stick to slathering this on my hands before sleeping, as well as on my elbows/knees/soles after a shower. I also like to slather some on my lips before sleeping as well. The smell of this is divine, and I really do think it is different from most food store ones. When it melts, it's totally clean, not grainy like some of the ones I've bought from the store.

It works like a cleansing oil to remove my makeup! Only downside is it melts and becomes a liquid when it is hot and solidifies when it is cool so I suggest storing it in a cool dry place to avoid the oil from getting messy!! Great product!

I LOVE cleansing my skin with this coconut oil. It is NOT the same as every other oil. I do sometimes use a "regular" coconut oil from the health food store to moisturize my legs and arms - but this is the only thing I like to wash my face with. Sounds strange - but it is wonderful. Smells delightful.

It is pricey and for that reason I put off purchasing this, but I'm glad I did, and it's lasted a while. I don't use this every day, but on days when I wear makeup, especially eye makeup, I break this out. The smallest amount takes off even heavy duty makeup in a flash with no tugging or stinging. I remove it with a soft cloth. My skin is combo and it loves this stuff.

I loved this coconut cream, but I felt a little silly paying 18 dollars when I found a similar product for not as much at the local health food store. I kept the container, it's beautiful, and I just refill it myself. I do love RMS beauty though, and I'll probably buy this again in the future.

This is sold out just about everywhere the RMS line is available, and it's understandable why. This is raw- it's literally super duper good for you, and it's so comforting using it... well, everywhere! Incredibly moisturizing and leaves skin feeling super soft and supple. Also, no break outs! Bonus: this smells soooooo good!

This is the never-ending makeup remover. I just got married in India and had some heavy duty eye makeup on. In one sweep with a cotton ball, everything was off. I did not have any residue left over the next morning and even my mascara and liquid eyeliner came off easily. I like that I do not need to keep re-applying this and that it does not sting my eyes.

It does what it says, although I do agree with some comments that it can be unnecessary for some people to buy from RMS beauty. For me though, it actually gives me a peace of mind that RMS offers such product and explains how this was made because it ensures you that this is a high quality raw coconut cream that makes it different from those you find elsewhere. This does not give me any break out or irritation whatsoever. This also takes off ALL of my make up including my drug-store brand mascara (which I cannot let go of it yet), so you know this cream REALLY works!! Besides, it smells yummy. I have tried olive oil or jojoba oil to remove my eye make up, yes they do the job but they smell like 'oil'.

I wish that it also comes in a bigger size too because it runs out really fast :( I love using it for my whole body as well as to mask my hair too!

Since I started using coconut oil to remove my makeup my skin has really improved. I have a lot less breakouts and my skin does not become red after washing. I have really sensitive skin and this product really helps. I have used coconut oil from the grocery store, but I prefer this one since it is shallower and easier to get product out than a larger bottle.

This is basically just the same coconut oil that you can buy at the grocery store for cooking. The jar is cute and it removes makeup well enough, but you can get organic coconut oil much much cheaper than this. I got this as part of a gift set and have been refilling it with the grocery store stuff. One thing to consider: coconut oil melts if it gets too warm and the jar isn't leak-proof, so be very careful when traveling with this.

Using Raw Coconut Cream as a makeup remover has really turned my skin around! Blemishes are gone and my skin feels soft (never greasy) without needing added moisturizers at night. I'm 35 years old and have fought acne for much of my life. I wish I'd found this natural alternative sooner. The scent is a light coconut, with no heavy lingering smell. Don't be fooled, you can't just use coconut oil from the natural grocery store...not unless you enjoy smelling like butter! Don't skimp, try this product, you won't be sorry. I'm addicted!
