This deodorant was put to the test the first time I used it. That day I had gone to work when it was 70% humidity without air conditioning, and while I was wearing a non-breathable polyester uniform as well. After 6 hours of constant sweating and physical labor in that situation, I came home and found out that my underarms still had no smell! This was unlike the Dove deodorant that I had been using, which left more of a smell than Soapwalla! I'm so glad to have finally found a clean deodorant that actually works!

Switching to a clean deodorant was the hardest for me; I tried dozens and dozens from health food stores and they all left me stinky and sweaty. Soapwalla was a godsend! The cream formula is really great - the oils moisturize and nourish, while the clays and essential oils really seem to absorb dampness and neutralize smell. After letting my body adjust to no more aluminum-based products, I have definitely noticed a difference in the amount that I sweat, as well as my body odor. I would never go back to anti-perspirant because Soapwalla honestly performs so much better!

This is a terrific natural deodorant -- the only one I ever use. It smells nice and it's even a little bit drying -- I think because of the clay powder? But, like some other people, I've found that it irritates my skin sometimes, so what I do is just use the tiniest smudge, and only on the wrinkly part of the underarm. Don't get it on the delicate skin around the underarm, and it won't irritate.

I've tried a million different natural deodorants and unfortunately this one is making it way into the same disappointing bin. I sweat quite easily and need something that will just eat away at the smell right away. It did work a bit better than several other brands I've tried but not enough to make me want to pay up for this one every time. I do like that its creamy and seems to absorb better than the stick variety. It could just be my body type is not suited for natural deodorants.

I have been searching for an all natural, EFFECTIVE deodorant for the last ten years and have been unsuccessful until I found Soapwalla deodorant cream. I gave up searching for a nontoxic deodorant, all the natural ones did not do a good job and left my arm pits feeling sweaty and soon producing BO. I was very reluctant to try this one, but I'm glad I did. This deodorant cream keeps me dry and BO free. I work as a nurse and this is 100% effective. I'm so thankful to have finally found something natural that works and don't have to use any more products with toxic and questionable ingredients.

I've tried all conventional brands and none functioned, not to mention they were toxic. Then I moved on to Whole Foods and while those were safe they lost effectiveness quickly. THIS IS A MIRACLE. It lasts forever, smells delicious, and keeps you odor- free and sweat free in all conditions.

I, like many others, had decided to go natural on my deodorant. This is the first one I've tried. When I first put it on, my armpits feel really dried out, but it smells ok. Throughout the day I'm not very sweaty (never really have been) but I sometimes can smell not so great. So I've noticed that now throughout the day, this makes me smell like really "herbal" B.O. Not horrid, but by no means good. I think it's too harsh for my sensitive skin anyway. Probably going to return it.

I bought this product and fell in love last summer 2012. Then I decided to reorder in December and the price had gone up by $2.00. Not that big of a deal, because I loved the deodorant so. Once I received the deodorant and began using again and developed a persistant rash underneath my arms that didn't go away for a month or two til I finally decided to give up the deodorant as it was the only culprit. The rash disappeared completely.

I believe the recipe ingredients or something has changed, because the new texture was slightly thicker and more yellow than the old deodorant. The smell had slightly changed too. My boyfriend noticed the difference too. Maybe they decided to use cheaper quality products to up the profit. Either way, I'm bummed because I loved this stuff.

this def works but you can buy coconut oil for much cheaper and that works just as well. I can't knock the product. It does work. It's just not much product for your money. There is no stink with this product. And I find that you don't have to rub it in as much as they say. It's very easy to apply.

Such a great non toxic deodorant that really does work! I'm super sensitive and I'm so sad for people that have had a bad reaction. I'm crazy sensitive and have even used it after shaving without a problem. It has real lasting power, great product.

I've tried every natural deodorant out there and this is the only one that works. It doesn't work for extreme sweat, like stress sweat, but I will stick by it since it's the best alternative to an antiperspirant.

I've been using this product for about seven months now, and overall I am pleased with its performance. It gets me through the day when I'm working my desk job, but when I'm running around at my retail job, I usually have to reapply at least once.

I've only had a bad reaction to it a few times. I was in a rush both times, so my best guess is that I just put it on too quickly or rubbed too hard. Putting it on freshly shaved skin doesn't seem to bother me, but everyone's skin is different!

This product is very grainy and was rough on my sensitive skin. It did okay on keeping the smell away, but the grainy texture was too much for me and my underarms began to flake and were left burning and raw! Obviously this works great for many people, but it was an awful experience for me.

I LOVE this stuff! Works great, smells great, goes on smoothly and doesn't irritate skin. I wasn't crazy about applying it with my fingers at first, but I've gotten used to it and wouldn't trade it. I can't believe I've finally found a natural deodorant that works!!!!

As far as natural deodorants go, this is the best I've tried. I gave it four stars though, because I still sweat quite a bit while wearing it. For meetings or other times that I really need to stay dry, I regrettably still use antiperspirants.

Soapwalla is the most amazingly effective, and well priced natural beauty product available. I can apply once in the morning (4:30-5am) and not need to reapply during the day. Ever. I'm a normally sweaty person too, who exercises regularly. I did experience some irritation and itching about a week after starting to use it, but this can be explained by the fact that clay draws impurities from porous surfaces (hence why it's in so many skin masks) and it will do the same from the lymph glands in the armpit, particularly any aluminum that is left from old nasty deodorants. Please persevere if possible as after about another week all irritation cleared and now my sweat never smells, even if I don't wear deodorant for a day.

I've been looking for a natural deodorant for a while, and this one actually work well enough to hold up through a workout. It has a slightly medicinal scent, but I like it. I do wish it were less gritty, but I'll take that over something loaded with aluminum. It looks like the one jar will last me a while, but I'll definitely reorder when I run out.

This deodorant feels nourishing to my skin, which is pretty wonderful for a deodorant, and it really works. Also, it lasts all day! The cream feels a little strange at first but eventually it settles in and feels dry and clean. A natural deodorant that works. Really works! I live and work in a pretty humid/hot location, and this is the first deodorant that I haven't needed to re-apply mid-day. My underarms can be sensitive, so I try to avoid applying it just after having shaved. Truly a must have product for anyone trying to make the switch to clean products.

I have found I smell less by using this wonderful deodorant! When I used stronger antiperspirant it made me sweat more. This has really solved a lot of issues for me! Although I would keep a regular gel around for wearing white t shirts or silk tops this one may stain your clothes due to the off white color and oils in it. Also has made the wetness under my arms lessen but will not take away all wetness like some deodorants. Its not supposed to because its bad for you anyways! The clay's and vegetable powders do a pretty great job keeping me dry for the most part. I would highly recommend this one for a first time goer for a natural option- yes, the application is different but I got used to it quickly and its kind of a nice change to your morning routine :) Just ordered their bath salts too... very excited!

This stuff has changed the game on deodorants for me, both conventional and natural. This stuff not only works, but if your lax about showering it continues to work. I started using this stuff in the middle of deep summer with extreme NYC heat and humidity-- and despite those hurdles this stuff really works. Its strange that you have to rub it in, but you get over that pretty quickly because the results are exceptional. This stuff actually works better than conventional deodorants. Get it you will not regret it.

This deodorant does actually work really well. Unfortunately for me, after using it for a couple of weeks, I got really really bad irritation and broke out in sores in my armpits. :( I wanted to love this product so bad, but it is not for me.

This deodorant does work; I have to reapply a few times a day but it does keep me stink free most of the days. I wish though it would come as a roller or stick; I am not too fond of the finger application. I would also prefer a scent free version, but can live with it. As other reviewers have said, it can cause rashes so I never use it straight after shaving.

I love this stuff! Second time ordering it. The jar lasted me quite a while using it every day. I wish they would make it in a stick somehow because it does bother me a bit to put it on with my finger tips, but it smells amazing and it does not leave any funny residue on my hands. I gave up normal deodorant a long time ago... Just not worth all the nasty chemicals in it. That being said I have been searching for a natural deodorant for a long time that actually has staying power. I feel like Soapwalla is the first natural deodorant I have found that controls odor all day and even makes me feel dry (and I sweat a lot). Hooray! If you are looking to make the switch to natural deodorant I would HIGHLY recommend this product.

I am disappointed in this deodorant cream. I so wanted to love it, but it just does not work as my regular "non-natural" deodorant does. It has a pleasant smell which I really love, but it does not protect against odor at all. Also, it stains my clothes. Back to my regular deodorant.

I sweat a lot, way more than most people. It's embarrassing. But oddly enough, when I started using this, I actually smelled less AND sweated less than with traditional deodorants. And this was in the 100-degree Texas summer. It of course doesn't stop my sweating, but I do think it reduces it. After going through several containers, it stopped being as effective, so I switched over to a different all-natural deodorant. The one I'm using now is effective smell-wise but definitely doesn't inhibit my sweating. I feel certain, though, that after taking a break from the soapwalla, it will be back to it's original effectiveness when I start using it again. I'm not surprised that I'm having to switch, I had to do so with conventional deodorants as well. Oh, and one other thing, don't apply it right after shaving. It will burn!

I finally found a deodorant that works for me. I have a sensitivity to normal deodorant and it doesn't prevent sweating or odor for me. I have tried every natural deodorant and this one works the best by far. I still sweat but there is no more odor and this doesn't make my skin break out. The only con is that you have to wait for it to dry. I would recommend!

I think this deodorant probably really does work for people who don't sweat a lot. Unfortunately, I do and this deodorant turned my white t-shirt completely yellow under the arms. When I saw, I ran home to change immediately. I think it's something to do with the baking soda...it has strange chemical reactions for some people, which is why some ppl here are commenting on getting rashes or black under their arms post-use.

I have tried a plethora of natural deodorants, but the bottom line is that this one actually works. I have a very stressful job and speak in front of people for a living, and I DO NOT SMELL or get pit stains. I don't know how they did it, but they did.

best deodorant ever! i have never tried any deodorant that kept me from being stinky the way this one does and there are no weird chemicals or artificial fragrance - no deodorant, natural or otherwise even comes close. it is not an antiperspirant, so yes, you may still sweat, but it does have some absorbent quality. sorry, but nothing is going to keep you from glistening a bit when you are walking through the city in 100 degree heat. i swear by this stuff and have given it to my mom, who is now hooked too.

As other reviews have mentioned, this is slightly messy to apply. I dropped "regular" deodorants a long time ago, have used Toms and Lavanila, as well as just raw coconut oil and lemon wedges, but like this the best. No need to over-apply for it to work, just rub in gently. Like all deodorants, this can leave residue on your clothing, but I haven't had problems with staining or anything else.

I have a love-hate relationship with Soapwalla. Some days it's enough to keep my BO in check, and others it simply can't keep up. Nice peppermint-lavender scent, and very creamy (although tends to get grainy the longer it's been open). Finger application isn't terribly messy, but it IS a hassle when you're running late in the morning (which for me is always). For days when I need an actual antiperspirant, I use Deodomom (a magnesium hydroxide based concoction that seriously works). That said, I definitely find that Soapwalla lasts longer than run-of-the-mill clear 'natural' deodorants such as Tom's of Maine, (which do absolutely nothing for me).

this is my first natural deodorant after switching from antiperspirant.. the smell is nice, very tingly at first and i didn't shave.. i was itching so bad i put baking soda on top to neutralize.. after a few wks i got used to it.. i keep it on hand but use something another natural brand on the regular...

This is seriously the only stuff that works for me (and I am including all the dozens of 'dirty' anti-perspirants I've tried through the years in that statement). I sweat, I smell - I need ALOT of help. This keeps me fresh on a regular sweat day - and relatively fresh on a high-sweat day. All in all the best thing I've tried to date & won't do without it!

It did an okay job keeping me smelling fresh but the application is a bit messy, and it gets on clothes easily. I prefer other natural, clear, stick deodorants.

I never thought that a natural deodorant could perform as well as my "dirty" brands. This deodorant is one of the most effective I've ever used! I like the herbal scent quite a bit, and I don't mind smearing it on with my fingertips. My only issue with this product is that my poor, sensitive pits can't handle it on a daily basis. If I use it daily, my skin becomes dry, scaly, and red. I think it's probably the baking soda. Sad! I really like everything about it otherwise. If your skin is not overly sensitive, you should definitely give it a try.

The first couple days I used this I thought I had finally found the perfect natural deodorant after years of searching! I sweat a lot and didn't smell even at the end of a long day running around.
Unfortunately, after a week or so it gave me a rash. My armpits were red and the skin was dry and sore. (I don't shave my pits, so it didn't have anything to do with using it after shaving.) I switched back to a much less effective natural deodorant and after about two weeks my skin was back to normal. I have slightly sensitive skin, so maybe this is just a bad reaction; if your skin is not sensitive, I highly recommend this stuff.

I couldn't believe it, but this product actually works. However, you must like tea tree if you are going to wear it. I thought it smelled fresh, but my husband did not care for it. The scent would hang in the air a good hour after I applied it. I got tired of hearing complaints from hubby about our bathroom smelling medicinal, but I would still recommend the product to others.

This is my first natural deodorant purchase, and I'm not a very sweaty person anyway, but I really like this product! It's a little grainy and I wish it didn't have to get both hands messy to put it on, but otherwise it works great and keeps me smelly fresh, minus lots of chemicals :)

I went through my first jar of this and I scraped it to the very bottom. I loved this. Better than so many deodorants I've tried. It isn't a miracle product, but it works fantastic for me. I will use this until I find anything better(if I even do).

This product took a little getting used to, mostly because I think there's a detox period between switching from chemical to natural deodorant. However, after a few weeks this works very well. The one downside is that if I apply even a little bit outside the inner armpit it causes irritation on my skin, so beware sensitive skin people.

My husband and I actually get snitty with each other for hogging the Soapwalla in the morning, so we finally caved and bought two jars so we can each have our own. Fantastic at combatting smelly pits and it also smells really lovely and fresh.

I agree with some reviewers that if you have sensitive skin (I do, husband doesn't), you may need to take a break from this every few weeks, just for a day or so. I've also found that applying just as much as you need and not slathering it on help cuts irritation, as does waiting until you're dry after a shower - something about the water and cream together can make me itchy.

I waffled whether to go with 3 or 4 stars on this. Maybe a 3.5? The smell is really nice. And it DOES work really well if I'm not exerting myself, if I'm not doing a brisk 15minute/mile walk or if it's not above 80 degrees. (To be fair, I am *always* "too hot" and can't stand any temperatures over 70. It's my Pitta nature!) In cooler weather & when not exercising, it's great. (Honestly, many of the natural deodorants I've tried didn't do so well in normal conditions - I overheat really easily and sweat A LOT.)

I don't consider myself to have "sensitive" skin, but I agree with some other reviewers who mentioned irritation. It does make my armpits sting & itch a little bit sometimes, especially if I just shaved.

However, as natural deodorants are just a problem, in general, and I refuse to wear chemical laden & aluminium deodorants, I did not have high expectations.

After having my first baby, my hormones went bonkers. I started sweating tons with more underarm odor. I always have used Crystal Stick with no problem, but that just was not working anymore. I came across Soapwalla and gave it a try. It totally works!! I am more dry and odor- free. However, I will agree with some reviewers about sensitive skin. I experienced a little irritation that was not bothersome.

Unfortunately for me, I can get pretty sweaty. I've tried tons of different products and up until now, the only thing that worked for me was a clinical strength anti-perspirant. I always felt really uneasy about using an anti-perspirant (all that scary aluminum) but I could never find a natural deodorant that did anything for me. After reading so many wonderful reviews about Soapwalla I thought I would give it a try, and I am SO glad I did! I've been using it for about a week now and it's everything I ever wanted in a deodorant- it smells great, keeps me odor-free, and even keeps me really dry. The only time I started to sweat a little was on a hot day in the sun, so I may need to apply more than once/day on days like this. I would definitely highly recommend.

I wanted to wait a little while after I started using this product to leave a review because I know that it does take your body a bit to get used to a new deodorant. After only a week of use, I think my body has already adjusted- this stuff works great! I'm an active person and sweating is part of my daily routine. While this might not hold up quite as well as the conventional stuff, it's still fantastic and there is absolutely no reason to keep using the toxic stuff as long as this is on the market!

Sorry I know this is everyone's fav so I guess my review is just in solidarity with others that can't make this work so you don't have to feel like a freak of nature all by yourself :) I couldn't get this to do anything no matter how much or little I used. I tried applying it to completely dry skin or damp skin- nope. I tried adding a little baking soda- nope.

I tried this product after reading all the glowing reviews from multiple sources. I thought it was ok. Smelled nice, reasonably effective, unique application. Is a perfectly fine option for natural deodorant.

This is the only natural deodorant I have tried that works. It did take my body a few weeks to adjust and I do reapply it half through some days. I am reassured not be putting all those chemicals on my body. I work out HARD and at worst I melt smell "musky" but never like real BO. I would recommend this product if you are looking for a good natural deodorant.

After using for a few weeks this started to give me a painful, red rash. I really think this product depends on your skin type/sensitivity. It smells really nice and worked great for a while, but I had to stop using it. Great product, but definitely depends on your own skin!

I tried a sample of this, heeding the warnings of those reviewers with sensitive skin. I had no reaction and was amazed at how well this deodorant works. I've tried others, but they don't last all day. Soapwalla lasts all day, and keeps me drier than I expected (which is almost as much as my former conventional deodorant). It smells great, works all day, and thus far has not discolored my clothing. I don't mind applying it directly, but clean hands are a must. I don't know how she does it, but this is a far superior product to other clean deodorants out there.

Great product, smells clean and divine (for a deodorant). The only thing is the whole application thing, I hate dipping my hands in this and wish it were a stick or spray deodorant. I would give it a 5 stars if I didn't have to dip my fingers in it! Still a great product.

I got this for my boyfriend who I made try several natural deodorants (none of which worked) because he would get rashes from regular toxic deodorants. This actually works better than anything he's ever tried! Highly recommended.

I have tried every deodorant on the market and Soapwalla Kitchen Deodorant Cream is the only one that works for me. As a person who only uses products that are free from harmful chemicals, petroleum, or aluminum compounds found in commercial antiperspirants I was amazed when I tried Soapwalla. It smells GREAT, it WORKS all day long and the 2 ounce container lasts quite awhile. I'm so thrilled with the product that I'm giving Soapwalla for gifts this Christmas.

I have ordered this in hopes that it would work for me and it did. I've tried a few different other natural deodorants and this one seems to work best for me. I really like the fresh lavender scent. It feels strange to use it the first few times with your fingers, but you get used to it. I keep this in my bag to touch up during the day if need be. Would be cool if they came out with a small travel size and also a larger tub than this one because i feel it will go quick.

every time I use it, it leaves a red circle. There must be something in it that I'm allergic to , though it's so natural I can't imagine what is in it that I'm allergic to.....SO disappointed because it has been the ONLY natural deodorant that prevented my smelly pits

SBL RESPONSE: Baking soda in it's nature is abrasive - when combined with the friction underarms endure, these micro-abrasions can leave friction burns on the delicate skin of the underarms. It's possible you're not allergic, but irritated. As simple as it sounds, stirring the cream a couple times can help it become less abrasive and more lubricating.

For a natural deodorant, this works pretty well. It dries to a matte finish and has a pleasant smell. This won't keep you as dry and stink-free as the usual, grocery store brands, but I'm used to using non-toxic deodorants that give you a "natural" amount of odor protection.
I don't get extremely sweaty or stinky to begin with, so this works great if you are the same.

I have tried about a million natural deodorants, and this is one of the best. It's even moisturizing! The scent is mild and would be appropriate for men as well, but unfortunately the men in my house are too lazy to spread it on with their fingers. They insist on using a deo stick.

I really wanted to love this! I'm actually quite envious of the gals it works for. I loved the idea of the magic stink-preventing potion in a pretty blue tub, but unfortunately it didn't prevent the "stink" for me. Too bad, I would have loved to finally find my HG deodorant with awesome ingredients. Everybody's body chemistry is different, so it might be worth a shot for somebody else!

SBL RESPONSE: So sorry to hear this didn't work for you but it is worth noting - switching from conventional to natural deo can require at least 28 days of regular, twice daily use before the body starts to re-regulate odor - a sort of detox period if you will.

I have been using the Soapwalla deoderant cream for 10 months, and it is nothing short of awesome. I am active and love to spend time outside, and this is the only natural deodorant I have tried that prevents odor even after a workout. You just put it on with your finger, all the ingredients are good for your skin, and it disappears, no white or oil marks on your clothes. It is not as wetness-preventing as an aluminum-containing deodorant, but it is pretty good in this regard and great at preventing odor, in my opinion the primary reason for wearing DEODORant. I have recommended this to my friends/family and so far all have liked this product. I hope you enjoy as much as I do!

I wanted to love this product, but instead I like it. I do sweat and I have found to keep any odor at bay I really have to reapply at least once during the day. It is a good product for those that may not sweat as much as I do, but I will keep on the lookout for something that may work for me better.

I applied this cream after a shower in the afternoon, went to bed, woke up the next day and cleaned house for 10-12 hours straight. I got dusty, grimy, gross and sweaty while cleaning and still no underarm stink. You have no idea how amazing this is for a girl who has tried everything, EVERYTHING in the way of natural/organic deodorants and hasn't been able to find anything to keep herself from smelling. Currently I have 5 deodorants in my medicine cabinet that will all be donated to my husband (who now has an endless supply at his disposal) because nothing has worked for me until now. Some deodorants I've tried only worked for 30 mins, some for 2 hours, some for 5, but have actually worked and kept working like yours. Not even some of the chemically laden toxic ones have worked for me. I have hormonal issues which must make me especially smelly or something, lol. I love organic skincare, handmade soap and being organically clean, but none of that matters if you step out of the shower and 30 mins later smell like you haven't taken one! This deodorant is a godsend, a lifesaver, and it's so organic, natural, and healthy! When I apply it, I feel like I'm nourishing my skin and taking care of my body because I actually am. I can't get over it. After sweating for hours, I couldn't smell anything under my pits except maybe something very faint (nothing like my normal BO smell) if I stuck my nose right up in there (gross I know!). And that was from a single application I had put on before bed the night before! Imagine if I'd put it on fresh that morning! Wow. Just wow. I'm so glad I listened to the reviews at No More Dirty Looks and SBL. I've read and heard "it works" before a million times but this time it's actually true! Granted, the product costs a bit more than I'm used to spending on a natural deodorant (of course, when you're used to buying multiples in an attempt to find something that works...), but for me this stuff is now priceless. A powerhouse of a natural deo. After a few weeks of using this, I did develop a rash but emailed with Rachel, the founder of the company and she gave me a few suggestions for usage. She even suggested the baking soda-free version of this, as she felt that was the irritant for most people. I tried that and liked it but even went back to the original version with no issues. I suggest giving this another try even if it hasn't worked in the past, and also want to give a shout out to a super business owner. Perhaps SBL would consider selling the baking soda-free version?

Only eco deoderant that has ever worked for me. But it is annoying to apply and impossible to travel with because it liquifies at high temperatures. I wish they could find a way to make it into a stick or a better dispenser.

Startied using after shaving and had burning and developed a rash ...rash took a while to go away and then read online to try shaving at night, that helps a bit... Can't use everyday though

I guess I'm one of those people who this deodorant doesn't work for because I have sensitive skin. I still think that unless you have really sensitive skin, this would be a great product to try because of its natural, clean ingredients. I like that its really not scented so it doesn't cause a headache or compete with any other scented products you may be wearing. As for me, I will keep looking for the right natural deodorant for my sensitive skin.

This seems to be really effective but I had a bad reaction to it (red rash and bumps - I'm possibly allergic to something in it but I also just have really sensitive skin). I tried a couple of different things (shaving at night, etc.) but the rash didn't go away until I stopped using it altogether. Back to the drawing board for me!

All the revews are true-this is the best in the natural deo department. takes some getting used to applying it. But it works-all day and thru workouts.

Pros:
Smells great
Dries fairly quickly after application
Lasts a few hours in a low heat environment

Cons:
You have to use your fingertips to apply it-- so that means one more step of washing your (sticky) hands afterward
It melts in high-heat temperatures. Even after mixing and freezing again it never really regains the same consistency
DO NOT apply this if you've just shaved your underarms. I did this on accident more than once and ended up with burning/raised underarm skin that was painful for HOURS
Eventually it started discoloring my underarms
It stained white shirts yellow under the arms
It only lasts one or two hours if you are outside in hot temperatures
Price is expensive for how little of it you are actually getting!

Overall I found Soapwalla to just be "okay." I've since switched to Real Purity deodorant which I find works much, much better and has none of the cons on this list.

I love this deodorant! I have tried several other natural ones and they always fall short. But I had to stop using this deodorant (I was about 3/4 of the way through the jar) because I developed a terrible, itchy, stinging, red rash under my arms :( I really wish that Soapwalla would make a version for more sensitive underarms because this would be my favorite deodorant if not for the rash!

I've tried nearly every "green" deodorant, with generally poor results. This is deodorant cream is different. It really works. It's not an antiperspirant, so I still sweat (which is okay with me), but I do not smell. At all. Even after being in the sun in 95-degree heat. I am truly amazed. No odor whatsoever, even after outdoor activity. Definitely recommend!

As another reviewer wrote, not only is this a fantastic deodorant in and of itself, it is the best deodorant I have ever used including conventional formulas. I have tested the gamut of these products, and knew when I found this one that I could stop searching. Little of this product is needed to be effective ( I use a Q-tip sized amount under each arm), it smells very pleasant (yet the smell is not dominant), it keeps you fairly dry, and best of all is that is seriously lasts all day long!!

I could sing its praises all day long, and always recommend it to people.

This product actually works... even after a long 12 hr day. And it smells great and doesn't leave any white marks (if you've allowed ample time for it to soak in and dry).

I have tried a bunch of "natural" deodorants in powder, liquid, and crystal form and Soapwalla is by far the BEST I've ever used! A tiny bit goes a LONG way, just rub it in and go. I do still sweat, but unless I'm doing a very hard exercise work out I don't smell at all! The scent of the cream isn't overpowering, or overly herbal. I highly recommend this deodorant to anyone who wants a great natural deodorant.

Love supporting women founded companies and this is no exception. Soapwalla Kitchen Deodorant Cream is very easy to stand behind because it ACTUALLY WORKS!!! Here in Charlotte, the heat and humidity really tested my natural deodorants and I must say it's embarrassing when one of them didn't work. But I don't have to look any further, once I got over the fact that I had to touch my armpits in the morning I was good to go. I did start using my own small plastic spatula to get the deodorant out of the jar because it is habit for me and it does not contaminate the jar by dipping your fingers into it everyday. Have to note, this deodorant does have a strong earthy smell which doesn't bother me, but be warned if you are used to the smell of synthetic deodorants.

Don't be put off by the fact that it's a cream - it is natural and works. Application is very simple and you can always wash your hands off afterwards. It smells herby and you won't smell. I find that for myself, it doesn't hold for a 12 hour day, but that's fine, I can just reapply in the afternoon or evening and then I'm fresh again.

This is a natural deodorant that really works. I mean really. I tend to get pretty funky by the end of the day (I have an active job and work outside plus I just sweat more than average) but when I wear this I know I'll be fresh all day. The only problem is it's not for the sensitive. I can get away with 1-2 days wearing it before my under arms are an ouch-y, rash-y mess. Even if you're not sensitive you should avoid applying it on recently shaved pits. I'm guessing the corn starch is to blame? Dunno but I save this for days when I know I really need it and make sure I shave the night before. Please, Soapwalla, make a sensitive formula for those of us who don't have pits of steel :)

This works ok but it's not for the average heavy stinker I like it for days that I'm not very active then it works great but when the heavy activity comes so does the stink.

This deodorant is the most effective natural deodorant I have ever used and the scent is lovely. It is easy to apply and doesn't stain clothes or leave weird clumps or streaks. I had to discontinue use, however, because it gave me a rash every day that I wore it.

I've tried many natural deodorants that just haven't cut the mustard (I live in the desert). Soapwalla really, truly keeps you smelling fresh. My only beef is that I don't like to sweat and this is not an antiperspirant. So, when the temp hits above 90, I switch to the poisonous stuff. The rest of the time, I'm a devoted user. It's a little weird at first to wipe this onto your pits, but I've gotten over it. Also, Soapwalla lasts quite awhile.

I really like this deodorant, but it doesn't always work for me. Most of the time it does, but I am always sure to keep a small container in my purse for touch-ups and I have noticed that sometimes even that just doesn't quite do the trick. Vastly better than any natural alternatives, though, so I am loyal. I love the texture and scent, and the company itself!

Works the best out of the "clean" deodorants I've tried [reference NMDL]. It doesn't always keep me dry, but i never smell. I also live in Central Florida so it's impossible to stay completely dry. Once i got past using my fingertips i actually started to enjoy applying it that way. I have noticed sensitivity after shaving, i try to shave at night.

This deodorant works very well. It has a neutral, clean scent and lasts all day. However, it does not work for me as an anti-perspirant.

I have tried a lot of natural deodorants and this one actually works. It last all and day; I stay dry and don't smell by the end of a long day! I was so happy to finally find a deodorant without aluminum that worked.

This product is so awesome. It works really well for me as a deodorant. I like the smell of it and it works for the whole day! Even my mom is a convert. Love!

I have yet to find a natural deodorant that works as well. Keeps my pits relatively dry and I feel as though I sweat less after making the switch from the yucky, bad-for-you junk to this. The only con is that it leaves a fair amount of stubborn, oily residue on clothing

As far as natural deodorants go this one gets the job done, though you will smell quite distinctly of mint and tea tree oil all day. meh!
Pros: non-oily. This dries to a nice matte finish on skin. Many natural deodorants leave you slightly wet and sticky all day...this one doesn't.
Cons: after continued daily use after more than a month I developed extreme skin irritation. My skin eventually completely peeled off of my underarms, and all was well again. The advantage of that was all of the skin darkening under my arms disappeared! (nifty side-effect). Now I find I can use this periodically, but have to alternate with other more gentle deodorants to avoid the same painful situation.
Travel: This is my favorite for travel. I scooped a little out, put it in a tiny travel container (something I got a sample in), and it fits perfectly in my cosmetics bag. No other deodorant I have can travel in such a small space, so that's a win.

Several years after abandoning chem deodorant and using the "Crystal" with mediocre results, I had resigned to being a "stinky hippie". Thankfully, that is not necessary! I don't know what took me so long to try this product, but boy am a I glad I finally did! I have already put it to the test and it passed with flying colors :)

The smell is minimal and barely noticeable after it absorbs - really, you can only smell it if you lift your arm and sniff ;) hehe

I did find, that if you apply too much of this product it clumps up and is visible. So, best to use sparingly.

Bottom Line, Get it - a little bit goes a long way! If you have super sensitive skin, get a sample first.

It is the best on the market I could find, but still the homemade one works better... coconut oil, arrowroot powder and baking soda, the best!

This was a wonderful deodorant until, for some reason, it quit working for me. I used it for several months with no problems, and then it suddenly began to give me a rash. I quit using it after that, and I was very sad to leave it behind! It smells great, and is easy to apply. It's definitely affordable and lasts quite a while. Too bad I couldn't stick with it!!

I used to be so excited using this deodorant because not only it works for me as an anti-perspirant it takes away the bad armpit smell too. I'm not too keen either with the smell of the cream though but I guess it's not too bad. However, after a week of using this, my armpits become really red and I was not even scratching it. It then got worse and worse, it kinda hurt and I read around some people might find that the baking soda ingredient can be too harsh on their skin. It is too bad because the deodorant actually works :(

Coming from a girl who used Certain-Dri for years, this works wonders. I don't sweat as much as I used to, and I don't even need to use deodorant every day anymore. Its pretty pricey (I should have stocked up while these were still $10), but it really is worth it. Within the period of one year, I have only used 3 jars - that is with my boyfriend dipping in to it as well.

I really wanted to like this product. It's relatively easy to use and kept me stink free. However, after a few days of use, it broke me out in a rash.

All of the other "natural" deodorants I have tried normally still had propylene glycol which would make my skin peel. This one has a truly clean ingredient list. I also really like the fresh smell. I was taken back at first by having to put deodorant on with my fingers but the texture is great and it goes on well. I like everything about it.

I have tried many different natural deodorants and have been let down by all except for this one. The smell is strong at first, but fades a little while after applying. It is minty and fresh and lasts all day. I only gave four stars since my skin became irritated and red sometimes after applying. It was not enough to stop using however.

I love love love the idea of natural deodorant, and this stuff works extremely well. I live in the South, so I sweat a LOT, and this definitely keeps me un-stinky all day long, even on days when I'm outside a lot and am literally soaked in sweat. It even seems to keep me drier than most non-antiperspirants do, which is also a plus. The only problem is that I developed a pretty bad rash under my arms when I first started using it and it took about a month to go away. I am able to use it now without a problem, so my body seems to have adjusted. If you have sensitive skin, though, this might not work for you.

This deo is really effective. You have to apply it with your fingers which is not that big of a deal, but you have to get used to it...
The smell is very minty which is not necessarily a bad thing but the smell can be a bit awkward if, like me, you wear a floral perfume.

Oh how I wanted to love this - I had heard such great things about this deodorant. I wasn't crazy about the smell which I though I could get used to, but I should've listened to my nose. Turns out I'm allergic to one of the ingredients in this deodorant and broke out in huge red bumps in my armpits after a few days of using. So I can't really speak to its effectiveness but I've since heard that others have had this reaction as well so be careful!

I really like soapwalla deodorant. It smells lovely and does the trick in most situations. The application is a bit strange at first, but you get used to it. I give it three stars for a few reasons:

-Doesn't really work that well as an antiperspirant for me. It will keep me smelling decent for at least the work day, but I get pretty sweaty almost immediately.
-I travel a lot. This product becomes liquid at higher temps and leaks outside of the container. Also, because it has a finger application, reapplying after a long day is a bit of a pain.

I still use it though because I haven't found anything better and I really, really like Rachel (Soapwalla's founder).

This deodorant is the only natural deodorant that actually works to keep smell at bay- even during a sweaty nights sleep! The only complaint is that if I sweat the day I shave, my skin stings. Best to shave at night and apply in the morning.

I live in New Orleans, LA, and this is the first clean deodorant I've tried that doesn't stop working after only a few hours. With the heat and humidity down here, I thought I was going to have to use chemical-laden deodorants for the foreseeable future. I'm so happy there is finally a clean deodorant that proved me wrong and actually works! I really love the smell. It did take a couple of times to get used to putting deodorant on with my fingers but something I quickly got over. I love Soapwalla!

This works very well except for sometimes causing red blotches. Even if I shave at night and then put it on in the morning, I frequently get them and they burn. When that does not happen, the product is excellent!

This stuff works as a deodorant... really well, but combined with my own sweat left really dark marks on all my light clothing! It took a couple of washes to remove them so I would not recommend.

Conventional deodorants have always caused irritation for me, and never seemed to work. Plus I want to stay away from chemicals, and definitely don't want aluminum in my armpits! I can honestly say I have tried about 12 brands of natural deodorant and none of them worked. I was so happy to have found this! It works ALL day and no odor for me at the end of the day. It is the one deodorant I have found that works, is natural, and doesn't irritate my skin. I'm finishing up my 2nd jar and about to buy my 3rd.

Soapwalla deodorant cream has a wonderful minty smell and lasts all day long! I'd been looking for a natural deodorant for years and this one is perfect. I use my fingers to apply the cream, which can be a bit messy, but you can get creative with applicators (cotton swabs, popsicle sticks, etc.).

This works better than any deodorant I've ever used. Safe & free of dangerous chemicals, it is a must have. A simple swipe lasts all day, it does not have synthetic fragrances so it smells very plain & natural. (but that's what great perfumes are for!)
